New England Country Girl
My New England upbringing is undeniable. I was raised outside of Boston not too far from the ocean. Farms and stables span throughout my bucolic hometown known for its one central store, local swimming ponds and the best apple festival around. As a product of the country, I've been in love with horses since the age of five when I started riding. I held my first camera when I was 15 and spent hours developing in a dark room. I put my camera down to study political science and then to pursue a career in communications and branding that began in Washington, D.C. and continued for more than 25 years. Photography, like horses and spending time in New England, are my everlasting passions. Capturing the beauty, love and joyous energy in authentic moments is the purpose of my work as a photographer.
